Delivery and collection

At checkout you can choose free collection in Northampton, InPost Locker or Royal Mail Tracked 48. The exact delivery charge is calculated from the parcel size selected by the seller and is included in the online total. Current per-parcel prices are InPost £1.99 / £2.59 / £3.99 and Royal Mail £3.65 / £5.55 / £7.35 for small / medium / large parcels.

Like Vinted, each checkout contains items from one seller. Items from another seller require a separate order and delivery charge. Sellers must use tracked delivery and keep proof of postage until the order is completed. Never send an item or hand it over until Treasure Box confirms that customer payment has been received.

Returns, problems and refunds

After delivery is marked complete, the buyer has two days to confirm that everything is okay or report a problem from the private order page. Opening a problem pauses the seller payment while Treasure Box reviews the evidence. If no problem is reported within that period, the order completes automatically.

Because items are sold by individual sellers, change-of-mind returns are not automatically accepted unless the seller is acting as a business and UK consumer law requires them. If an item is significantly different from its listing, counterfeit, damaged in transit or not received, keep the item and packaging and provide photographs or other evidence. Do not return an item until instructions are confirmed. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method.

Condition guide

• New with tags: unused, with original tags attached.
• New without tags: unused, without retail tags.
• Very Good: lightly used with minimal signs of wear.
• Good: used, with normal wear clearly shown.
• Satisfactory: visible wear or faults, fully disclosed in the listing.

Photos and descriptions must show stains, damage, alterations, missing parts and other material defects.

Seller rules and prohibited items

Sellers create a Treasure Box account with email and manage only their own listings from the seller dashboard. Sellers must own the item, provide accurate information, select the correct parcel size and use their own photographs. Complete listings publish immediately, but Treasure Box may edit, hide or remove inappropriate listings.

Counterfeit goods, stolen goods, dangerous or recalled products, weapons, illegal items, medicines, alcohol, tobacco, adult services and items that infringe intellectual-property rights are prohibited. Sellers pay a 0% marketplace fee.

Marketplace terms

Treasure Box provides a marketplace connecting buyers and sellers. The buyer pays the listed price, the selected delivery charge and a buyer protection/service fee of 5% + £0.50. Sellers currently pay no marketplace fee.

Listings are one-of-one and may be temporarily reserved while an order is prepared. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. An order is confirmed only after Treasure Box receives verified payment confirmation from Stripe. Treasure Box may cancel fraudulent, unsafe or unlawful transactions.

Privacy

We use account, buyer contact and delivery details to operate accounts, prepare orders, arrange fulfilment, prevent fraud and handle support. Seller contact information is not displayed publicly. Newsletter email addresses are stored only after submission. We do not sell personal information.

Passwords are stored as salted cryptographic hashes, and account sessions use private secure cookies. Password-reset codes are single-use, expire after 15 minutes and are never stored in readable form. Order data is available only to the relevant account holder and authorised administrators. Private order pages use an unguessable access link and should not be shared. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion where applicable.
